G Club : Campaign For A Lane 5th Edition (CFAL5)
the 5th edition of CFAL is back....

ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR CFAL 5TH EDITION, 2013
OPENING AT 12 NOON, 9TH May, 13 THURSDAY
Registration will be closed once the number of participants reach the LIMIT or 8th July, 13 whichever is sooner.
Event date; 8th September, 13, ; 7 am; Padang Kota (Esplanade) Penang.
Please register early to avoid disappointment. We have managed to maintain the participation fees at Rm 70 for Malaysian. However for non Malaysian, we regret that we no longer are able to subsidize for your participation, hence your fees will be Rm 120

The event will be in collaboration with the Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang and flagged off at the Padang Kota Lama on the 8/9/13 at 7 am

2nd Annual GClub Penang Ride of Silence
This is our second year of Ride of Silence. The aim of this event is to increase awareness to road users and cyclists alike to share the road.
We will start off and end at New World Park this year. So to all who are coming, please remember these 4 GOLDEN RULES...
1) Ride no more than 20km/hr
2) Be equipped with safety gear i.e. helmet, lights
3) Follow all traffic rules.
4) Ride in silence as a mark of respect.
Please wear white to this event.
Note : This ride is a fully self sufficient ride. There will be no marshalls and rela to hold traffic. You are required to call for your own backup should you are not able to finish your ride or emergency.

unveiling of "Give Me 5 Cyclist Sculpture" by CM - 30/3/2013
Cyclists are invited to a simple ceremony at Tg Bungah (In front of Paradise Sandy Bay Hotel) to unveil the 14' sculpture by Chief Minister, YAB Lim Guan Eng.
Water n finger food will be provided by Paradise, Flamingo & Coptone Hotel for 300 cyclists.
Programme for the morning will be as follow :-
7.00am : assembly of cyclist at site
7.15am : arrival of CM
7.20am : Speech by CM
7.35am : unveiling of "Give Me 5 Cyclist Sculpture" by CM
7.40am : photo session with CM at site
8.00am : CM will flag off all cyclist groups that will continue with their own ride plan.
Pls bring you cycling buddies to witness this historic event.
