Intriguing trail... for newbies, the Mt Erskine trail on 15 February 2010
I felt a little lazy to pen this ride as the Chinese New Year mood took a heavy toll from me. The only thing in my mind was to ride my bike and increase the mileage for me and my Scott. With enthusiastic encouragements from friends who read my blogs felt that I should continue writing, or to be more appropriate, typing on my laptop the stories which I encountered during my rides. So, for my friends and readers out there, here goes lazy me...
Ladies, where are you?
I am always wondering while cycling round island with Stingray, Lazyrider, Susumu San and Aubun, where have all the good ladies gone? It will surely be better to have some ladies joining us in our RIR. As a newbie on offroads and hill climbs, experienced lady riders would be an inspiration to me and other newbies to perform better. I hope G Club could rope in some ladies to join us on the RIR this coming Saturday. It will be fun.

Can't believe what I was doing on CNY eve - the Gertak Sanggul ride!
It was a hot Friday afternoon when most of my friends have “siu kang” (Hokkien for stop work) and did some final preparations for the coming New Year. Some, like me, were preparing to go out for our lovely rides. Suddenly,......
“Peter, come here please and help mom do this....”
Round Island, again
The cockerel crowed at a time where most people would be sleeping, enjoying the cool air. Unless the airconditioning is on, then they are not so lucky to feel the breeze. At 5am, a cockerel crowed? So early? It was the alarm from my mobile that woke me up. I was really looking forward to this trip again. Despite having a nagging pain on my right meniscus, I would still take the challenge to fight the phobia of falling from my bicycle.
