The monthly G Club Bahang Ride is here again.
This month we will "extend" the ride all the way round Penang Island as practice ride for those who needs a feel of what to expect come 25/10/09. (but you will be riding clockwise during the RIDE WITH CM event)
Turbosnail and other G Club members will be leading the way with the usual brief stop at Teluk Bahang kopitiam. Other stop(s) will be decided during the journey.

Another ride for those who wants to climb. Deatils as follows :-
Meeting Point : Foothaill of Air Itam Dam
Time : 0700 hrs
Will ride all the way up to Hilton then decide to go up further or return back.
As usual, bring lots of water and NO HELMET, NO RIDE.
Route: bukit jambu - bayan Lepas - b.pulau and back
Meet: Vistana Hotel, Yeap Chor Ee road.

I am thinking of doing the road ride again this coming Saturday to Pulau Betung. The route is as follow:
Gurney drive - Tanjung Bungah - Batu Ferringhi - Teluk Bahang - Sungai Rusa - Pulau Betung and back.
Distance is around 85km round trip.
I will stop at the following regroup points:
Teluk Bahang Kopitiam
At the peak of the climb after Tropica Fruit Farm.
Junction at Jln Sg Rusa before turning to Pulau Betong
Pulau Betong Kopitiam
I will start my ride at around 7.30am from Pulau Tikus.

Description: A trial ride on maindland route. Distance to be in the range of 145~150km. Marshals will escort the ride. If you need support cars, please make your own arrangement. Come join us and have great fun. Please take note that this is a road ride. KOTRTs also implement no helmet no ride policy.

Description: You will be riding on car accessible farmer trail that will lead you to a well manicured lawn yard that we call carpet or secret garden. Gradient of the trail is to be easy to moderate. Ride duration should in between 2 to 3 hours.

Description: Tough climb on car accessible pavement up to the Temple of Clear View (1200 steps temple). The climb could be overwhelmed fosome. Ride duration could take more than 2 hours.
