Ride2Rescue - 29/1/2012 (8am)
Parkroyal Penang Resort together with Rotary Club of Georgetown, with the assistance of G Club Penang Cyclist will be having the above ride to welcome 5 cyclist from UK who are on their way to Melbourne, Australia.
Details of the ride are as follow :-
Date : 29/1/2012 (Sunday)
Venue : CAR FREE ZONE, Beach Street Penang
Route : from CAR FREE ZONE to Parkroyal Resort Penang, Bt Frerringhi.
Time : 0800hrs : registration opens (max 200 preregistered riders)
0830hrs : arrival of Ride2 Rescue cyclist via ferry
0900hrs : Flag off by Mr Mr. Francois Sigrist, GM of Parkroyal Penang Resort
1015hrs : arrival of cyclists at Parkroyal Penang Resort proceed to Andaman Grand Ballroom
10.30hrs: Welcome speech by Mr. Francois Sigrist, General Manager of PARKROYAL Penang Resort and President of Rotary Club of Penang
10.45hrs : Speech by YB Chong Eng
11.00hrs : Presentation by Ride2Rescue Riders
11.30hrs : Hand over of donations to Ride2Rescue Riders and World Vision Malaysia
11.45hrs : Proceed to lunch reception
12.45hrs : End
Registration is FREE and forms must be fill in on the spot at CHIN AIK CYCLE, Carnavon Street or Green Bike Eco Shoppe, C.E.O. Bukit Jambul. Forms available from 18/1/2012 afternoon.
Registered participants will be give a t-shirt each on event day when u report to registration table @ 0800hrs.
Only participants with event t-shirts are entitled to free lunch Hosted by Parkroyal Penang Resort and limited to 200 first come first serve basis.
as usual : NO HELMET NO RIDE and children under 12 yrs of age must be accompanied by an adult.
G Club, Parkroyal Penang Resort & Rotary Club of Georgetown Penang will not be help responsible for the saftely of cyclist even though police excort will be engaged on event day. All participants are to obey all traffic rules.
