Solo Road Ride at Teluk Bahang this morning
Woke up at 8.30am and decided to go for a solo ride. Since this morning was also the day for Heritage ride in the town area, I didn't expect to meet a lot of riders on my way to the Fruit farm. I was wrong. Just out of the traffic junction at Gottlieb road already met three Malay cyclists. I greeted them, we rode together and chatted spokes and nipples. One of them rode a beautiful steel bike. I did not get the brand though. They turned back at Teluk Bahang roundabout.
I continued my ride to the dam and then the peak of the road where Jln Teluk Bahang and Jln Sungai Pinang met, 800m away from Tropica Fruit Farm. Met few riders again on the way. Most were on MTB. I decided not to continue my ride to Pulau Betung as planned and turned back at the peak.
Reached Pulau Tikus at 11am. 2 Hours for 50km ride. Not bad considered I did not feel I had the legs this morning.
Lets see what happen next week. My Trek is due for its routine maintenance house call at LBS. Maybe one more weekend ride before send it to LBS? Hmm...
