Deepavali Ride - P Tikus- Tlk Bahang - P Betong and back - 17 Oct 2009 0730 hours
I am thinking of doing the road ride again this coming Saturday to Pulau Betung. The route is as follow:
Gurney drive - Tanjung Bungah - Batu Ferringhi - Teluk Bahang - Sungai Rusa - Pulau Betung and back.
Distance is around 85km round trip.
I will stop at the following regroup points:
Teluk Bahang Kopitiam
At the peak of the climb after Tropica Fruit Farm.
Junction at Jln Sg Rusa before turning to Pulau Betong
Pulau Betong Kopitiam
I will start my ride at around 7.30am from Pulau Tikus.
Anyone interested can join me on the way. I will make my ride to pass by the following usual meeting points:
G Hotel, McDonald's Gurney, Caltex Tanjung Tokong and Pearl Hill.
As usual, no helmet no ride!
Those on MTBs are encouraged to do the ride on slick tires as it will be easier on your pocket and energy...;)
