Gertak Sanggul Farmer Trail, the most scenic trail for mountain biking in Penang
This is yet another nice trail that's suitable for mountain biking in Penang. A favorite amongst hikers, trail bikers and mountain bikers.
I have been riding this trail since I first got into mountain biking last century.

Would this be easier than the Hai Keat - Midstation? From the pics looks fabulous!
It depends which trail in Gertak Sanggul you are taking. If you were talking about our last recce that led us to the adbandoned golf course, if you think Hai Keat is too much for you, you are not ready for that trail yet. Some part of trail may be even steeper than the Pg Hill jeep track.
But there's another one that the gradient is much gradual and a favorite for most mountain bikers. Ask anyone about Gertak Sanggul and they will talk about how scenic the ride is.
The one we recced is not well known, yet. But I won't be surprised someone may have taken up the challenge and try it out.
