Description: I will riding up to an adbandoned golf course at the peak of the hill. The slope could be steep for some. But I will make several stop to catch some breaths. This is not going to be a newbie ride. Be prepared to deal with slope with steep gradients.MTB ride on singletrack, which I think is the most scenic trail in Penang. Trail gradient to be easy to intermediate. This is a true mountain bike offroad ride. Ride duration is about 1 to 1.5hours.
No Helmet No Ride!

ok. I'll try to make it since it's going to be an easy ride. have not rode off road for a few years Liao :)
About 10 riders showed up. They were given a choice whether to do a "scenic" ride or a "breathtaking" rider. As expected, the majority opted for the "scenic" ride! (sorry Andre and Andy, I will assure you next MTB ride will be on THAT "breathtaking" ride!).
We had a blast! Andre was fast. I nearly had heart attack for chasing him! Andy was not himself this time, and he decided to be a sweeper.
Overall, it was a fun ride!
Where got easy and scenic. All I saw were mud, mud, and more mud man.
Maybe it was because of my puncture la. My arms still hurt from the repair in the jungle. Never knew the mini pump could be so hard to use. So you guys out there, make sure your bike is in good condition when you ride. Or else might end up trying to become a bike mechanic in the middle of your ride.
Came home and found out that my spare tyre also sprung a leak! Lucky it did not happen when I was still in the trail or else it will be the ultimate luck having to change a flat AND push my bike down from the top of the hill.

The starting time will be delayed to 8am. Instead of doing the alternate trail, I have decided to go for an easy spin on the the usual Gertak Sanggul farmer trail since the majority of riders can't make it due to other commitments.
I have changed the ride venue. It will still be at Gertak Sanggul, but will be riding at the new trail that some of you may not have visited before. Details of the trail can be found here:
