vegan/vegetarian cyclist ?
hi all cyclist!
just wondering anyone here vegan or vegetarian?
there are many in the world just curious how many are in malaysia.
i m a vegan and hope to meet some veg cyclist here

Vegan ? its new to me this term!
Interestingly a few days back I had a visitor from Sydney, also a vegetarian. She runs a vegetarian yum cha restaurant in Sydney, the first and the biggest ! But she does not ride, too bad !
Hi Thomas, what is wrong with a vegan doing cycling as a sport or recreation. I hv personally known of many very active people who are vegetarian due to variou reasons. With a good diet, consisting of alternative proteins such as soya, vegan are perfectly normal and i do not think it shud hamper your sporting activity jus because you are a vegetarian. s
nothing wrong at all. i m just curious how many are they as sometime i might ajak them to vege shop to eat after cycling, simple as that. btw i not vegetarian, i m vegan freak. LOL. have a nice day

Maybe you can help enlighten us on the difference between vegan & vegetarian. I think there's a grey line between the two but I know that they are different.
To me, being strictly vegetarian takes discipline as well as a lot of sacrifice. In short, I Live To Eat. Ask any of the regular members and they can tell you what I do most during rides.
Great to know you and do come join us for rides. Can always start with the workshop coming next Sunday!
