This is something every rider should attend to gain knowledge on how to upkeep and repair their own beauty bikes. This is my 4th year riding and finally learned that it's quite simple to change a tyre tube during rides. Chin Aik gave good tips during his hands-on workshop. Other senior riders gave good explanations and tips too. It was worth my two hours learning on how to upkeep and repair my bike. Thanks to the sponsors who made this inaugaral workshop successful. Also to the sifus who spend their time there sharing what they know.
Ray, will there be another one like that? Perhaps twice a year workshop will be good for riders to pick up some more tips.

The workshop was quite successful with an attendance of about 180 to 200 with cyclists coming and going and of course some who stays on until 10.30 am. We drove down at about 645 am, and on the way saw a beautiful sunrise at Gurney Drive and can help myself to snapped a photo and put it up as a cover photo. On arriving our organsiing chairman Ray is already busy getting things going. The Laksamana grp abt 15 strong team, the PLCA, Tan Boon Heng and gang as well as our Malaysia Mcgyver, Timothy is also already there getting ready their exhibition.
Chin Aik brought along a few scott bikes including the time trial bike for displasy. His happy hours sales, including multitool, chain cleaner etc etc were all snapped up by the time the event is over. The demonstration by Chin Aik was quite informative but nothing beats the hand on workshps conducted by all the sifus.
The breakfast was simple but enough to fill stomach and the lucky draw was great. The surprise grand prize was a bicycle and it was won by this young girl.
All in all, we must thanks the sponsors CIMB FOUNDATION, RALEIGH BICYCLE, CHIN AIK , SIFU, SGA MICHAEL AND GANG, McGYVER TIMOTHY AND GANG, THE LAKSAMANA GROUP AND OF COURSE ALL THE PARTICICPANTS
