Full Moon Round Island Ride, 29th May 2010
Dear members,
To all you night riding fans, the Full Moon Ride is coming. Get your blinkers and lights ready because we are going for an exciting ride. We will be joining other riders from Bayan Baru.
Event : Full Moon Round Island Night Ride
Date : 29th May 2010 (Saturday)
Meeting Place 1: 1915hrs in front of Island Plaza (Tg. Tokong)
Meeting Place 2 : 2030hrs in front of Kah Kean bicycle shop. (Bayan Baru)
Contact : nightrider (012-Four one eight nine six six three)
Estimated duration : 5hours
Distance : 72 km
Grading : 
4 (due to the lack of lighting)
*Please register for the ride together with your phone number*
Pre-requisites :
1) Must be self sufficient i.e. (Spare tubes, pump, chain breaker)
2) Blinkers and good lighting is mandatory. (Front and back lights please)
3) Having a flourescent/reflective vest will be of advantage to visibility.
4) Must have experience riding round island AT LEAST ONCE.
5) Average speed on flat 20 - 25km/h
*We will try to get Rela escort during the ride where we will share the costs among the riders present. Riders join this ride at their own risk. Advise to ride in groups and keep to the group of your pace if you should fall behind. Also be prepared for a call for your backup in the event you cannot continue your ride. Safety is of primary concern.

As this ride is on a Saturday, I would like to point out of other factors i.e. (Mat Rempits) will be on the roads so be extra careful.
Most important : NO HELMET, NO RIDE

Unless it's changed last minute, Nightrider, Stingray, Daniel Lee (?) and some other riders will start off from Island Plaza and I will be waiting for them opposite Ping Hwa School. Nightrider/Stimgray/Daniel, hmm??

As for Daniel Lee, I don't know if he will be joining us or not. Might want to check with him tomorrow. Called him but no answer. Maybe he's at work.

This is the 3rd RINR for G Club, I think we missed last month's ride. It's supposed to be a full moon round island night right and the last time we had 86 riders participating. This time round I hope we can have more !! It's a very enjoyable ride !

If you can join us at Pearl Hill, Tues and Thur 7-9am, you can get to meet Bee Hong and she would be able to tell you more about the ride as she rode with us in the last Full moon ride. And morover Pearl Hill is an excellence place for training. If you can cycle up Pearl Hill, almost certainly you can go round island...
